Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
It's catching on, I tell you! All those guys, emboldened by what they saw here, are now out and about, skirted. Was you local Main Street not a sea of manskirts that weekend?

Carl? Is that for real? Must be some kind of fluke!
I suspect it's a fluke, likely driven by 'bots and would-be spammers. I don't think our active membership is that large, and even if it was having everybody from around the planet all on-line at once seems a bit far-fetched.
There was also a behind-the-scenes glitch around that time that dropped some of the defences for a bit and caused some indigestion (me fiddling with my network and breaking things).

It's hard to believe (then again... no it's not) that there are that many would be spambots just itching to break in here!
Running a website in this modern world of spambots and hackers is like trying to have a steak cookout surrounded by packs of wild wolves. I know.... many-a-moons ago I played around with forum software on an old webcasting website I had. I had it running only a month, finally gained just a small handful of members (as in maybe three), and it was a CONSTANT chore to keep it from crashing... finally one fateful day it went down, and took the whole website with it due to spambots and malicious software, just said "screw it", left it alone and never looked back.

A ha the sorcerer's apprentice at work - so that is who left the door open for the bots to trolliop in to inflate the internetgate ! LOL !
One could win the lottery with the potential chance that all active members would be online at the same moment on any given day.
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !
