When I was a kid, I used to laugh at my Dad for this. However, he didn't have to cope with a snap happy daughter.
Just to add insult to injury, the camera is mine.
Dignified this is not, but I rather like it.

It must be something innate in children. I took a picture, not unlike this, of my father when I was a kid back in the early '60s.
