Post-Op Check-up

Post by Uncle Al »

Had my final post-op check up today.
Dr. said I could go to the drivers license office,
take the eye test and get the restriction for
wearing glasses REMOVED FROM MY LICENSE :!:
:kiltdance: :D :D :D :kiltdance: :D :D :D :kiltdance:

I plan on doing this next week. I still have a very small
amount of astigmatism in my right eye and in about a
year or so I may have to have a 'film' zapped by laser.
She wants to see me again in 6 months.
Like the Alka Seltzer commercial says, "Oh what a relief it is".

That's awesome news, Al. Thanks for sharing!

Getting the glasses restriction removed from the driver's license will be a bonus; the important thing is that you can now see things clearly where before they were a bit of a yellowed blur.

Bravo!

Always nice to hear good news.
We have braile along the side of some roads, makes a hell of a noise if a wheel runs onto it - like the diff ran out of oil. Probably not for the poor sighted but more for the sleepy headed.

good morning Al!

That is wonderful news.
I can just imagine how did the colors you're looking and how bright things are for you. Isn't it wonderful what they can do for folks these days. I can remember when my mother had her cataract surgery they hospitalized her for three days . Now it's outpatient surgery!
