2 Girls 1 Harp

Post by PatJ »

Since others have posted links to music videos,
I thought that maybe some of the readers here
would enjoy the following video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhOhGhq0e54#t=31

It is a rather interesting video of twin girls playing a
harp and creating almost haunting music.

I hope those of you who view the video find it worth
your viewing time.

That video is made up of far too many short shots. It jumps about all the time: close-up, long shot, different angles, now watch her press the pedal for half a second ...

I gave up before the end.

Pretty and talented girls. Nice presentation & outfits. I see they chose my backyard to film that clip in :| Music a bit banal and I agree about the filming/editing.

Just like nearly everything they put on tv, and many cinema films too. I find it very tiring and switch off.

Careful guys, your letting your age show.

Please don't be offended, but that is how they
do everything for those who have less years
under their belt. It is as they all have ADD
(attention deficit disorder.)

I don't care for the short shots either, but
no one should let the poor video production
take away from the talent shown by the artists.

OK Pat, you win. Playing the harp back to front is a special skill. But the music was a bit repetetetetive as well!

Skirtyscot,

You hit the nail on the head with that one, and that is why I don't listen
to many kinds of music. It seems that the musician has a few "licks" and
just keeps repeating them in sequence over and over and not just variations
on a theme that we find in classical music.

Oh well, life goes on and we "skirt" our way through it so it's all good.
