That was inspired lunacy -- and artistry -- indeed! Thanks for sharing that.

Here I am in my study, listening to Tangerine Dream performing a piece from the motion picture The Keep that, even though performed entirely in the electronic domain, is so perfectly baroque in execution that one can very easily imagine it being performed on harpsichord, string bass, and woodwinds.

My eyes may be "getting old", but my ears are still pretty darned good -- even after all the abuse I heaped upon them in my youth.

That guy Benjamin Grosvenor came to the Dublin NCH. a few weeks ago and I had the pleasure of watching him play a whole evening of music. Not a note in sight all evening and with his youth his stamina is extraordinary.

He did just one night and had a packed house.
