Thank you Stv. I too wish you all the best wishes for the season. What with all the opposition from MOH I'm sure that without the support of members from this group I would not have persevered with my skirt wearing. There have been words of wisdom imparted that have generated insights that I would never have reached otherwise. And you have taught me that wearing a skirt, while unusual in this day, is not a perversion and certainly not the event to cause one to attract any unwarranted attention. I hope that this coming year resolves many difficulties for you and enables you to fulfil whatever destinies are ahead of you. Thank you all for your assistance. :D

Merci, Stevie, as well as danke, grazie, and thanks. Well said, indeed.

As we approach the beginning of another year, I'd like to take the chance to wish all the members of the community the very best -- you guys make the place work. Make no bones about it: without participation we'd be nowhere -- not even wolves howling in the wilderness.

So, whilst I am drawn to Greg Lake's benediction of, "Let all sadness, pain, and sorrow leave you and let your road be clear", I will also offer, "May peace, health, and prosperity always be with you." Not just in the next "New Year", but in all the ones to come.

In closing, and to purloin a line from Mohandas Ghandi, "Be the change you want to see in the world." Don't just talk it -- walk it -- and it might just come true.

Hi Carl,
Vielen danke und, muckle greetins fur yer ain gweed thochts.
Hi Dennis,
I'm not so sure about wisdom, as I place comments or whatever, it's simply my refelections on the world as I see it. Opposition comes in so many forms that we all have to deal with it as we must.
Thanks for your words though.
Steve.

Wisdom comes in many forms and many of the more thought-provoking themes have come from throw away lines as part of another issue. The ain value is to make you THINK and there are precious few occasions for that nowadays. Perhaps the most important things I have got from this site has been SUPPORT and the alternative viewpoints ( some of which I have not agreed with but kept quiet for obvious reasons ). Sometimes in the down times it's just a comfort to know that you're just there and can offer empathy and sound advice when treating me seriously. Thanks.
