It's the same sort of discipline and technique as used by handbell ringers, each having two bells and the choreography results in nice sounding tunes, rather more musical than could be produced by boomwhackers.

I suspect though, that boomwhackers are cheaper to produce and buy than tuned handbells, a proper set of which would cost several thousand pounds.

Very cool! One of our clients [I'm a pipe organ technician] has a bunch of percussion goodies by the organ console and when we're done tuning the organ and my boss is writing up our maintenance report, I like to play with the Boomwhackers! They're fun! :D
