Hitching
I've just been trying out a long denim skirt and have felt the back hem intermittently hitching in something as I walked. It turns out that it was dropping into the gap between my heel and the back of my boot, which closed up and nipped it during each stride. Presumably if the skirt were an inch shorter or longer, this wouldn't have happened.
Has anyone else experienced this or something similar?

There is no such thing as a normal person, only someone you don't know very well yet.

Re: Hitching
I have felt the same, the hem being nipped by my shoes, the other problem I have with ankle length denim skirts is that they are good at undoing shoelaces! an inch longer seems to stop both things happening but maes the skirt slightly more likely to get under my feet or get wetted by wet ground/grass. I am not sure what length to go for next time I order, however, choices seem a bit more limited because Midas seem to have disappeared completely now, I emailled Lance days ago and the enail has not been replied to, so I fear the worst.
