A skirt for Father's Day
A skirt for Father's Day
I spent Father's Day sitting out on my deck drinking beer and playing my guitar. Oh, and wearing a denim skirt. Now all my children and grand children are used to seeing me dressed in a kilt but this was the first time in a skirt. No one mentioned it except the 6 year old who asked why I was wearing a skirt. When I explained that it was the same as a kilt she seemed satisfied, said "You're silly Papa.", and asked me to play her a song.
I don't think my wife was very pleased but she kept her mouth shut.

Re: A skirt for Father's Day
So the little one wasn't bothered. Excellent! Maybe your Mrs will chill out a bit as a result. If she didn't give you an earbashing afterwards then it must have been OK!
I spent Father's Day in a skirt as well. My in-laws came round to lunch, and they're all well used to seeing me in a skirt. My Mrs says they don't like it but they're sure as Hell getting used to it!

Keep on skirting,
