Interesting......But all of the models had P*nts or leggings on.
Why the Leggings???????? Defeats the purpose.

Thanks for posting the site. There are a number of skirts and split skirts that look like they would be wonderful to wear.

About the p@nts worn underneath the skirts - perhaps that is one step away from tights and bare legs. If the look gets skirts into the main stream of fashion for men available in local stores - more power to them.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Sadly, all utterly pointless! Strongly re-inforcing the 'tr*user' element, does nothing to bring 'skirts for men' closer to seeing skirts as a viable, sensible option in menswear - the opposite, in fact. :( :blue:

Aside from the bland or bored looks on the models, and the models being "heroine chich" for the most part I only have this to say.

Please, please, please, let this style hit the store shelves and get promoted more than the Ford f-150!!!

These styles need a little work (ditch the pants for true leggings (those trashy looking, loose things were more slim jeans than leggings) , or even tights),but as they are, with the proper promotion, these really work. They do not look like table cloths or bedspreads wrapped around the waist. The models had upper parts to the outfits!!!!.

I didn't like most if not all of the shorted outfits, and the wide legged pants look did little for me (Those do nothing for me when worn by women anyhow, so I certainly wouldn't want to wear them)

We need more designers with similar ambitions.

This time it seems like they may have gotten it right.

I vote for real skirts with real LEGS under them. Not Leggs, but real masculine looking legs. No trousers, no pants of any kind. A man with muscular even hairy legs is still a man and a skirt is still a comfortable clothing choice. If wearing a skirt means you have to look effeminate, then the whole idea of "men in skirts" is gone and replaced by "pretty boys in skirts".. A look you can find at any Tranny site. I hope and pray WE are not going that way..:thewave: :thewave:

Skip,

I feel fairly sure you're not going that way and I know I'm doomed to fail if I attempt the "pretty boys in skirts" look; there's nothing even remotely pretty about me :(.

Having said that, I actually quite liked some of the skirts, even though I do not like the skirts over leggings or jeans look either on women or on men. Some of the skirts were wearable in the real world and that simple statement should show that I feel this is a step up from the sort of avant guard nonsense that Vivienne Westwood and Jean-Paul Gaultier show every now and then (when they feel the world is ignoring them).

Have fun,

Ian.

I think this would've looked wearable, if the model was wearing either a pair of black tights, or a pair of black kneesocks...

For that matter, if I found a skirt like that one, I might wear it myself, once I'm back in shape...

Oh Skip! You are falling down on the job. I could have sworn you would pick up the see/saw context in tense error (after all, which saw should we have used, a handsaw or a power saw?) and run with it  :bom:

Sort of, "Punk" meets "Goth" look? Can't see that on the streets, though, not even in "Dear Old London Town", these days! Thirty-odd years ago, when "Fashion Freedom" was a reality, it would have certainly 'worked', especially with your improvement suggestions, John!

If leggings are needed to give guys the confidence to first go into skirts, no harm in that, once the summer comes perhaps some will discard the leggings.

Ooh, I like those clothes for the most part. I don't see the layered look taking away from the skirts in the sense that the comfort angle is lost, after all when has runway fashion ever been about being comfortable? The white skirts mixed with black pants did make me think of waiters though. So many times I think I've seen a skirted man when it turns out to be an apron on him. Oh well, in time that apron sighting to actual skirts ratio is sure to improve.
