NATIONAL TARTAN DAY - APRIL 6 2008
Last year I made note of the NATIONAL TARTAN DAY and got all kinds of
flack for National Who - What country - and other befuddled questions/comments.
So let me announce and make perfectly clear that it is:
*** NATIONAL TARTAN DAY IN THE UNITED STATES ***
That date is Sunday April 6, 2008!
Wear your tartan (colors) proudly and if you are in another country feel free to join our celebration!
No affinity or forum membership required.

Thanks for remembering that we don't all live in the USA and national all means something different to all of us. Best of luck with the USA tartan week.

Sorry No links. Had to do some research to see the difference:
Google - tartan finder
I used this link:
http://www.tartanstore.net/?referrer=g1 ... PAodHDB7cQ
Anderson Tartan -
http://www.tartanstore.net/tartan?filte ... &x=80&y=12
Canadian Air Force Tartan -
http://tartanstore.net/tartan?filter_se ... &send.y=14
Yes some similiarity - but noticeable fine differences as with most all
tartans.
Tartans are as different as the families/clans organizations etc. as
they represent.
One could spend hours if not days researching an individual tartan.
Say! Have you come to the end of the internet yet? That will give you
an idea of the depth of the research available. Yet you have just begun
to scratch the surface.
Thank you for a very interesting moment in internet time - your
inquiry opened yet another search adventure.
