Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
If you're new to the Cafe, please grab a seat by the potted palm, settle down with a nice big latte, and tell us a little bit about yourself. Please also look here for forum principles and rules.
Hello everybody,
I am a woman who loves men wearing skirts and my husband wears it as often as he can. His name is Jerome and he created a website in France (translated into english) to help to promote the skirt for men in France and to help the skirt coming back into men's wardrobe. I know the webmaster knows him .
He wishes he could talk with you about skirt but his english is very poor and he can't discuss at all in english. But if you want to tell him things I can translate and write.
I think it would be great if all men could wear skirts bcause I think it's more comfortable for them.
You're great men when you wear a skirt so don't hesitate, do it !
Merci!! Thank you Zazie, a few more women talking up the cause of men in skirts is all to the good . Also welcome to the forum. My French is non existent so I know Jerome's predicament. Enjoy our company

Thank you for your welcome. to write to you will improve my english and it's good for me !
By the way, I forgot to give the website address so I do it now : JupeSkirt.eu
jerome has led actions in favour of men in skirt for more than 3 years now with intervention into medias because he thinks that information on the subject will help to reduce prejudices.I do agre with him because people are not used to seeing men in skirt and invent things about them such as sexual tendencies which are not true !
I know it can be difficult for some of you to wear a skirt into public areas because you are afraid of people's reaction, and afraid of your family's reaction which is the one that is the most important.
but don't forget that there is nothing that an avoid you to wear whatever you want , whenever you want.
Have a good day.
Zazie,
Welcome to you and Jerome. I love the way the Internet "connects" us all together from all parts of the world!. Someday I would like to visit France.
Thanks for your link to your website, I will have a look!

John, I don't want to make you jealous, but I visit two or three times a year! I love France, its cuisine, its wines (mmmm!) and the easy attitudes that many have. The women are beautiful too, and very feminine...
I also get to speak French - a language I rarely get the chance to use.
Iam sorry not to answer to each posts but you know, I have a lot of things to do and it's not very easy to find time to look and answer to each one.
I am very pleased to be a member of this forum even if I am a woman who can wear everything she wants whenever she wants. But I am in favour of a deep change into your clothes ...I am in favour of skirts for men as long as it remains masculine. I couldn't bear seeing Jerome wearing a skirt with laces and flowers or any girly stuff
Be yourselves while wearing a skirt and it will be great. I know it's not very easy because people are not very tolerant. Even in France, there are still people who think that man in skirt is the same as homosexual ! (yes...)
Welcome Zazie and Jerome from another wife of a skirted man. Thanks for posting the link to the site. I only looked around a little but I liked seeing the pictures of you looking at each other lovingly. That sends a very clear message to viewers that men in skirts are normal, desirable, and lovable.
I'm sorry I didn't have time to come and see you. I hope everything is fine for each of you !
To answer to skirt chaser, as far as I am concerned men are more desirable in skirt than in trousers...
These days, Jerome doesn't wear the skirt as often as I would but it's a bit cold outside and he is not on holidays...
He tries to make kind of history of the skirt into men's wardrobe with some drawers; at the moment it's only in a french version because I do not have time to translate but it will come soon. You can go and have a look it's quite interesting.
