Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.

Well that would be telling!
Took a walk to the shops in that one (on it's own) the other day. That very flexible velvet skirt is quite weighty and really swings, feeling superb around the legs. Immediately a "hello" from a young woman on the street.
I have ordered a many-pocketed vest to wear with my various unpocketed "maxis".
I''l see if I can find a link to that vest. http://www.innovations.co.nz/p/clothing/jackets/men

How about that? The skirt part is pleated and made of bubble gum pink shiny latex and the rest of silk or cotton, and if an "empowered" chick in skanky cloth give you a stare, say to her, " I just feel so comfortable in it, just like you." That's equality.
Well not pleated, just really wide and heavily flexible.
Totally synthetic as you say: the lable says: "95% acetate, 5% Lycra."
Bloody lovely. Big swing along the road, a very good feel about the legs etc.
A bit of recycling really, as the bodice dress was not great, and the skirt has already had a full life.
I'm adding to my "maxi" collection, and this was needed, as I wanted a good short sleaved one withought being one of the super Silkbody ones. They do have a higher kneckline, so can be over this one if I'm layering the maxis.
I should find or take photos of the othe ones to put up actually.
Just as an aside, a friend who wears skirts registered so he could comment on part of this thread, but some glitch seems to have prevented him from accessing it, so I took some screen shots and put them up on my thread on the "Art Of Sound" site. After all, my trade is Problem Solving!
