What did *you* wear "out and about" today?

Last night, I went down to Philadelphia for a Hogmanay ball (Swarthmore)
I wore my (Scottish) kilt to the ball, which was no big thing, since virtually all of the other men were wearing kilts, too. But I also wore it (with blue knee socks and blue shirt) to the "recovery party" today, and was the only person of either gender (except maybe one or two 2-year-old girls) wearing a skirted garment. I wore it home, too, a trip which involved 4 commuter trains and two subway trains (and 5 hours!) I got exactly two comments: a young woman waiting with me at the Media, PA train station asked if I was cold, as she noticed I had bare knees. And the conductor on the first train asked if I had bagpipes.
