Man Skirt
Re: Man Skirt
I wouldn't wear anything reaching below the knees either. My continuing sporting activities keeps them strong and tanned throughout the year, so they're used to being exposed. I have a range of kilts.
My wife aged 65 now wears almost everything to mid calf and that's feminine in my book. She still has a great pair of pins and I'd like her to wear something knee length and swirly, but she's gone all Granny nowadays, (we're expecting our 7th grandchild, not that we have any influence there!)
I agree that my illustrated skirt is more town than mountain. To move well over rough terrain, pleats have got to come into play, which I personaly like.

Re: Man Skirt
A "black skirted speedo" ?
Never heard of that; is the skirt attached?
For me a normal speedo is enough for the beach, plus a wrap-round skirt to go home in.
For kilt lengths, I go for knee length wool in winter, but shorter cotton in summer.

Nothing more than a womens bikini bottom swimsuit with attached skirt - LINK for illustration:

Sort of like an all-in-one - hem length 12 inches.
You could of course just like you say wear the speedo at the beach and use a wrap skirt over it going to and from

"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !
