The scowl though is an unfortunate feature of many from the UK.
I resent that remark----perhaps your mum was just less than happy. I saw John Wayne scowl on a film---that doesn't make all Americans miserable does it?. You certainly have no clue as to what you are talking about in this instance. Kindly keep those type of remarks to yourself.
