By way of reminder, Sapphire and I are rapidly approaching our 20th anniversary and enjoy robust back-channel communications that do not necessarily find their way here. She's got more of the "inside dope" than I've made public; so, the overall impact of my "adventure" from the other day is highlighted in a slightly different way than is visible here.Uncle Al wrote:I'm still wondering what made Sapphire so 'thrilled'.

The scowl though is an unfortunate feature of many from the UK.
I resent that remark----perhaps your mum was just less than happy. I saw John Wayne scowl on a film---that doesn't make all Americans miserable does it?. You certainly have no clue as to what you are talking about in this instance. Kindly keep those type of remarks to yourself.

Oh, come on! Mr Pythos hasn't a clue about personal relationships, or any other! Give him a bit of "anti-British" slack!Gregg1100 wrote:The scowl though is an unfortunate feature of many from the UK.

Carl,
It sounds like a come-on to me. Maybe he went home and fantasized about you. Maybe you rocked his dreams. Time will tell.
