I was in my Stewart Black tartan kilt, T-shirt, short (sport) socks and slippers. A bit hot, so right now I'm wearing brand new knee length black skirt (denim like) with pleat in front and back center. Giving some impresion of shorts.

Teal so-called muscle T-shirt, knee length straight khaki skirt with 10 inch pleated vent in the rear. no socks, Birkenstock sandals. Coolest outfit I have for summer wear. :)

olive-green t-shirt with navy blue mini. No socks, no shoes. Earlier today, wore the same skirt I've worn the past week @ school, with the olive-green t-shirt, pair of these socks: http://www.sockdreams.com/_shop/pages/s ... D_1345.php - in the caviar color scheme, and my usual athletic shoes.

When I got home, I needed to load the car up for a garbage dump run, so I slid on a pair of soccer shorts over the skirt, loaded everything up, then swapped the soccer shorts for a straight denim knee-length skirt, since it was in the mid-upper 70's and a bit warm for the soccer shorts. I also swapped the socks for a pair of black trouser socks. Wore that to the dump, then slid out of the denim skirt after everything was dumped.

Wearing what I wore today. Black t-shirt, black pleated skirt, gray argyle-pattern kneesocks. Took the shoes off about an hour or so ago. Hair's tied back with a black silk scarf that's tied in a bow.

Ha! For those of us fortunate enough to have "lengthy locks", "hair toys" are vastly under-rated as a means to jazz up the look a little bit. Well done! (I'm wearing a barrette with cut-glass "crystals" in it a the moment to restrain my hair.)

Just about to shed white shirt and tie, black blazer, black knee length slightly A skirt, off-black thigh hi's and black loafers. Went skirt shopping and wanted clerks to see the kind of skirt I wanted, and how I intended to wear it. Yep - nothing. Well I still have the dept stores to check.

Today I'm wearing a straight tan velvet skirt just over knee length, a burgandy "muscle" shirt, my Birkenstock sandals and I just got home from the grocery store. The usual people with only one comment, a stranger gave me an out if I wanted one and said: "Nice Kilt" to which I said, Thank you, but it's a skirt, not a kilt. Kilts are always pleated, this isn't. Have a nice day. He wandered away mumbling to himself..I guess he probably knew it wasn't a kilt but couldn't wrap his mind around it enough to say "Nice Skirt"...LOL :D :D :D :D :D :D

Another one of my favorites:
Nike navy blue Skort with white border trim with compression shorts;
white t shirt; white ankle sox and skechers black athletic work shoes.
Just down right comfortable.

"Skorting today"
rm
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

All in good time!! She is already planning the next kilt, and thinking of ways in which to steampunk it! When she is not sewing kilts, she is making her own corsets. She made her first one last week, and did an impressive job. Then she asked if I would like a corset, since she already has the pattern...not sure how to respond to that one :P
