Men's skirt from Sweden

I recently came across Skhoop of Sweden who make some interesting skirts, including one for men, at http://www.skhoop.se/eng/kollektion_080 ... _black.asp . Check out the luxury down-filled skirt as well! They're definitely winter skirts; it seems a lot of their online retailers are based in frigid Alaska, USA.

Yes, they do look quite practicable. I like the mention of the zipper fly on the men's version.
I already have the Blaklader Craftsman kilt, which was made in Sweden.

Interesting, very nice and lots better than the catwalk garbage you usually see. I tried leaving an openable fly on one of my skirts I made from jeans but I ran into an unexpected thing. With Jeans worn as shorts or trousers, the bottom of the fly goes under or is pulled towards the back side of the bottom of the jeans. This doesn't happen when a fly is on a jeans skirt or any skirt, especially A-line or looser skirts. I found it to be a job getting the fly to actually work as well as the fly did on trousers, as it wanted to go outwards from the waist at the bottom part. On a peasant or circle skirt it seems a fly would be completely useless as if you used it, you'd have to hold the skirts billows in one hand while working the fly with the other.
I, if using a straight skirt, just pull it down and sit to urinate or if an A-line or wider, gather it in both hands pull it up and sit also. Since (all?) men sit to "pinch a loaf" no one is going to know whether you're tinkling or plopping when you're sitting in a stall. And Skip, your right, my new Midas cargo has a fly and what you say is true, it ain't really worth having because as you say, the skirt neds to be held back to keep it out of the stream, you on't get that when biforcating.
