Legs

Post by Magickman »

Whether wearing pants or skirts, there are men with a diversity of opinions about showing their legs. I support the rights of individuals to have their own opinions, to make their own fashion choices, and to show their legs or not.

From my personal experience, with skirts and pants both long and short, a well-toned male leg draws the attention of passing women. While I am bIcycling in shorts, or dancing in a short skirt, women freely offer unsolicited comments about my legs. Fortunately, most of the comments are positive, and some of the women are lavish with their praise.

If a fellow has attractive legs, what is the point of keeping them hidden from sight? Why not have some fun with fashion freedom, and give the gals a thrill, too?

Before I got interested in kilts and skirts, I used to wear shorts most of the summer months outside of work. Now I like kilts as well as shorts. I also like towelling sarongs in the house.

I usually wear soccer or rugby socks, thick hiking socks or kilt hose, worn as knee socks in winter and scrunched down to the ankles in summer. I prefer to keep the thick hair on my legs for a macho look with my kilts and skirts, but its all a matter of personal choice, some prefer to shave their legs.

Regarding legs...me too!

All,

I feel the same way about showing my legs, and compliments from men and women come my way regularly when I'm wearing a skirt. I go a step further than you guys, however, since I wear pantyhose and high heels too. Even though these additional items aren't of interest to most of you, they do enhance the appearance of one's legs, and that's always a big plus for me.

Regards,

I reckon that if you want to use pantyhose, you must shave, surely. I think hairy legs in pantyhose would look grotesque, but I'm willing to take a second opinion!
I like the feel of just a kilt/skirt without any other gusset weilding garments to spoil the free feeling of a skirty thing. However I have been toying with the idea of trying shaved legs, just to see how they feel to live with. Would a bog standard electric shaver be the right instrument to use or would that result in unpleasant stubble?

That's what I use, and I started shaving my legs before I started wearing skirts. The results are acceptable enough if one takes the time to go over most sections at least twice at different angles. The advice I'd offer would be to:

(1) don't try to go too fast; regular men's shavers are geared to use on the face, and the velocities reached just aren't that high. If one moves the shaver too quickly, it won't do a good job.

(2) DON'T "PARK" the shaver anyplace (i.e. stop motion whilst the thing is running); that's a one-way ticket to burn-ville. It turns out that legs can be surprisingly sensitive to razor burn -- more so than faces, so just keep the thing moving.

Additionally, don't expect a standard shaver to be able to hack its way through "long growth"; trim that down first with the beard-trimmer before going for the close shave with the normal heads. I also recommend the use of a drop-cloth for the "first cut"; when I did the initial "mowing job" I produced a surprisingly large pile of hair on the floor despite having only patchy growth.

As far as legwear goes, if one is to wear sheer stuff then I'd recommend shaving; if one doesn't, I find the look reminiscent of "matted fur". With opaques, the problem is lessend somewhat unless it causes texture problems at the surface.

Yes, please!

Hair or no hair on your legs, both ways work depending on the look you are after. We are mammals after all so it shouldn't surprise people to find we do have leg hair.

Oh, by all means, gentlemen, please do show us ladies your legs! Perhaps you don't suspect that you're being looked at, and thought about favourably... but you are, believe me. Large numbers of us are looking at you when you don't realizing it, and appreciating away like anything. So please do expose your limbs for our delectation! :-)
