Out for a meal

Post by Charlie »

I took my wife out for a meal at 'Ask' in Wells last Saturday (Ask is a big Italian restaurant). As usual I wore a Union kilt. We sat at the table, people watching, and agreed that some female fashion combinations are hideous. For instance, a girl came in wearing a puffball miniskirt skirt and leggings. Another wore knee-length shorts with turnups; I'm afraid I find shorts like that to be horrible. Anyway, I thought that if anyone should happen to think I was a sight in my kilt, they should take a look at what some women were wearing. (No comments from the other diners.)

Just back from a meal in Ask, Fareham myself. Didn't bother with my kilt tonight, just wanted food before I start studying. However the kilt will be seeing more of Fareham as I am here until nearly christmas.

I took my wife out for a meal last Thursday. I wore my Scottish National tartan kilt and I don't think it registered with many people. I still wear the blue denim kilt for casual going out, walks and shopping.
My wife has ordered a Black Argyl tartan kilt for me for Christmas. That should be more suitable (colour wise) for the office.
Colin.
