Just had my shower and straight into a new skirt I bought recently from Long Tall Sally. Its ankle length as are most of their skirts and its in pure linen but looks like denim in a way also blue in colour. I tried it on in the shop as I have done for the three other skirts I bought in LTS. The staff are always very helpful and I like their styles. Anyone else purchased anything in one of LTS shops?

Light blue Tall man T-shirt, (I like the tall men shirts, they have long, past my buttocks, bottoms on them), Light blue straight knee length skirt with built in dark blue silk liner, blue wool socks and brown dress loafers.

Just got back fro a formal function with the family. I had to wear a "proper" men's suit, who's top portion I liked, even the tie. But I would have prefered my long skirt opposed to the pants I instead had to wear. I wore my Woman (levee) way opague tights under them, to prevent the itch of these unlined pants (Why are women's pants lined, and men's are not?)

When I got home I got out of the pants, and currently am just in the tights while deciding on which skirt and shirt to slip into for the rest of the day.

My sister in law, and mother were the only women wearing dresses, all others wore pants. Needless to say I was a bit miffed, concidering this was my fathers memorial. I just found it unfair that they could arrive wearing pants, and I could not wear my skirt.

ah, well.

Interesting comment there, Pythos. I also use hosiery under suit trousers as a liner, and wish also that my trousers were fully lined. I wouldnt have to wear hosiery quite as much then (and there are many times when I don't want to wear tights).

I'm in a blue tshirt, my trusty old grey stretchy 18" skirt, and navy blue sheer shiny tights. Slouching clothing, in other words.

I am wearing a denim skirt, 20 inch lenth, tie in front. A pair of no-nonsence great shape black pantyhose, a red sleeveless tank top and a pair of vitoria secreat panties. The panties are more comfortable than my breifs.

Black Tights, a Red Tabard - very dress-like. Oh - and - a crown! OK - I was playing King Richard the Lionheart in a Mummer's Play at the Gold Hill Fair in Shaftesbury, Dorset. We performed on Gold Hill made famous for the Hovis advert - for the UK readers.

Trying to explain a Mummer's play would be interesting. For those who do not know it is a traditional street theatre involving a story of good against evil, usually St George and the dragon, but in this case, since it was summer - despite the rain - it was Robin Hood against King John. My part wasn't too large - the Patrick Stewart part in "Robin Hood -Men in Tights".

Still, it was a good afternoon despite the weather, and a very comfortable costume!

I think that might have been Patrick Stewart's only comedic role. It also was probably one of the only two roles Cary Elwes ever had that he was really "GOOD" in. The other was as "Dread Pirate Roberts"/"farmboy"/"My Hero".. in "The Princess Bride".

I'm wearing a black pocket T-shirt with "Full Tilt Poker" logos all over it, a black twill pencil skirt, no shoes. My favorite skirt for playing online poker. I got the shirt at the 2006 World Series Of Poker Full Tilt Poker convenience room. It was free and along with a green, a red and a beige one, a FTP keychain and a couple of FTP chocolate bars, (which I didn't save). I visited about 5 of those, FTP, Absolute Poker, Ultimate Bet, Poker Stars, and Doyle's Poker Room. Got all kinds of neat things, including pictures with big time poker players and tons of autographs.:thewave: :thewave: :thewave: :thewave: :thewave: :thewave: :ciao: :hide: :hide: :sorry: :welcome:

White Skechers athletic shoes with white ankle sox.
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

White Dickies work T-shirt with pocket
navy blue above-knee skirt
black/green striped knee socks.

Pretty much what I wore most of the day, except when I ran an errand to the store and the post office, where I threw on a pair of shorts in addition to what I'm wearing now.

Well, today I was going to wear my postal blue UK but the
wife said that it smelled ( worked out in my shop and sweat
a lot. ) So, I dond my multi colored striped sear-sucker shirt,
blue multi panneled A-line denim skirt ( it is a bit to long ) socks
and sandles. ( Yes, Sandles! ) Did some things for my inlaws,
then we went to Arbys drive through, then on to Home Depot.
Shopped, then went to the Family Dollar Store. Been in the
skirt and shirt all day. No questions ever asked by anyone.
This is my 1st time to leave the house for anywhere in
a skirt. And, at 99 degrees F, I felt Marvelous! :D
This is the 1st time my wife never said to change.
I must mark this down on my calendar! :laff:

Al, bout time you got out in the world. I hid behind cars at night ducking from car to car on the way to the 7-11 to buy beer the first time I ever went out in a skirt back in 2005. I got to the store, "empty" GREAT! I went and got a 6 pack of St. Pauli Girl, headed for the checkout, and was horrified to see 2 very large tobacco chewing deeply tanned "rednecky" looking guys in front of me...Oh my, I tried to hide behind them, one turned around and looked me up and down and said, "Scottish?"............no, I replied, just comfortable... waited anxiously for whatever he was going to do next....he said, "cool, I bought a Utilikilt a couple of weeks ago but haven't had the nerve to wear it in public, glad to see others are wearing kilts too". Emboldened, I replied that what I was wearing wasn't a kilt, but was a denim skirt. ''Ohhh, he replied, looks like a kilt.'' (I don't know what kilts he's seen that were straight, not pleated, mid calf and had a walking slit in the rear) "That's nice I said", just then the clerk asked me to put my beer up to be paid for and both big guys walked out. I paid for my beer, started to walk out and the clerk said from behind me, rather matter of factly, "Nice skirt".. and I was gone.

Tonight I'm wearing a light blue pocket T-shirt, black Birkenstock sandals and a white twill straight knee length skirt with a new black slip underneath for comfort. I find a smooth slip makes a skirt feel much better if it's a denim or twill skirt, denim or twill are fairly rough materials.

This morning, needed to do a dump run. But, since I've decided while the weather's been rather warm and muggy to go unbirfurcated as much as possible, I didn't throw on the usual shorts or jeans to go to the dump in. Threw on the Levi's denim multi-panel skirt, a pair of brown trouser socks, running shoes, and a black short-sleeve polo shirt. Wore that most of the day. No comments from anyone. Later on, I decided to throw on my Lennox District tartan kilt and wear that, since I don't have a narrow enough belt for the skirt, and it does tend to ride down a bit, since it's a little on the loose side. Hope to fix that tom'w, that way, after the Skagit Valley Highland Games on Saturday, I can go strawberry picking without wearing a traditional kilt, yet, I don't have to switch to something that will make me overheat.

Currently, no shirt, just a navy blue mini and the aforementioned trouser socks.
