Does anyone know if this funny guy has discontinued wearing the outfits he did for his stand up routine, now that he is a TV star?
I certainly hope not.

in order to keep the HIGHLY paid position on the show "RICHES", ed has curtailed his stand-up touring.
therefore, his public cross-dressing has also reduced.

Izzard on TV?
Just out of curiosity, what is this television program that Izzard is involved with? What's it about, what's his role, etc.
Just curious!
Thanks...Chris M

Look up the show called, the riches.
From the premise, I was not impressed.
It has Mr Izzard, Minnie Driver, several other actors, playing the roles of Grifters (scoundrels in other tounges).
I am saddened to hear he has been cowed by his gaining popularity. He could have been a big help toward clothing equality.

This TV show (The Riches) is one of the best stories I've seen on TV, and the acting is superb.
The basic theme is that Izzard's character and his family have assumed the very posh lives of a dead lawyer & his family.
Their daily activities are all pretending to be these other people and, frankly, it disturbs me. We _all_ are pretending to some degree and this show makes one think about just how much one is _not_ who most think one is.
It is 'must see' TV for my wife & myself even though we both find it leaves us wondering just who we are.

According to his press releases, Eddie hasn't exactly turned his back on wearing skirts and makeup, and he isn't under any pressure from his TV show to change his wardrobe, he's just going through a phase where he prefers to look "blokey".
I think it's healthy to have a choice. He's sexy, funny and intelligent no matter what he wears.
