Old Navy Skirtalls
I was looking at the old navy website and I found these: Skirtalls. According to the product description they a "zip fly". Why would women need a zip fly on a this type od garment? Just wondering.

Actually that looks remarkably nice. Practical. And it leaves plenty of oppourtunityfor personalization via whatever you wear (or don't wear!) underneath as a shirt. Though, depending how loose it's cut for a woman's figure, a man may end up with a sea of loose fabric about the chest. Might be able to remedy that by shortening the straps.

They are on sale in the stores right now for $18 up to size XXL. I got an XL for myself for Spring.

I looked briefly at one in an Old Navy store. It was not my cup o' tea because the back had cris-cross straps, not at all like real overalls (Osh Kosh, B'Gosh). The skirt length would have been okay but the back was a little too feminine for my taste. The fly was quite short, typical for a womens skirt, and wouldn't leave much "working room" if you actually tried to use it. Not that you'd need it with a skirt that length - knee or just above.dragonslain wrote:I was looking at the old navy website and I found these: Skirtalls. I found one this weekend at an Old Navy store, on sale for a little over $8. Although the skirt is quite a lot shorter than I would prefer I like the overall affect in that it keeps my skirt from constantly falling down. I wore it all afternoon today and then drove 280 miles wearing it. Although I didn't stop in public I did notice a couple of truckdrivers giving me a What the F--- look as I am sure they really didn't know what they were looking at.
