When I was at primary school waaay back in the 1950's, they tried to make me write with my right hand - I won and they gave up :)

I've wondered if left-handed people have to be more creative and resourceful, in order to fit into a world which is by default set up for right-handed people.

You know Charlie I had a similar experience in primary school, never was able to switch (although I could never get the dang left handed scissors to work either). I think at the least being left handed forces you to learn how to think outside the box, as you have to be pretty creative to navigate world constructed for right handed people.
