Ozzy Osbourne Passes Away at 76

I don't normally make threads like this. Even if it's someone whose work entertained (and even inspired) me, my mourning is more personal and private. This, however, I'm still trying to process: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/obituaries ... -rcna42423

Despite how much this hurts, I'm at least happy that I got to see him perform live one final time in Black Sabbath's "Back to the Beginning" concert.

I'm glad you heard him live. As a teenager I was more into Deep Purple than Black Sabbath (and more into prog rock than metal), but I thought Ozzy was one of the great showmen of the age.

A huge loss - so soon after his Birmingham concert.

Some wonderful stories surfacing about his simple humanity and love for life.
