Another Friend Finds Out

Post by big_daddy_thong »

My wife and I were invited to our old neighbor’s house for a cook-out. We have been friends for over 30 plus years, we both have kids the same age and we have attended each other’s family events. But it has been awhile since we have had a chance to hang-out and he had never seen me in my latest apparel. I wore a above the knee denim skirt that had pleats to make in look more like a kilt. Bill and went to attended to his beer brewing while our wives got caught up on the latest gossip. He asked me what I was wearing as he could see my skirt. I told him it was a unisex skirt and have been experimenting with non gender clothes. I went on to explain I like it better than wearing shorts or pants, especially in the summer. He said he wished his wife would let him try a kilt, but no luck. Any way we had a fun time without any further mention of my outfit.

You might have helped your friend by his wife seeing you wearing a kilt like skirt and your wife being OK about it.
My name is Anthony, please accept me for the person that I am.

Another example of men being lead by the nose and who rules the roost.

I think that, as often as not, women get scapegoated for men's lack of fortitude. It's easy to say "she won't let me" assuming that you already know her response without ever broaching the subject.

Its a good point Medoc. You can't blame her if you haven't asked her.

Pleased the event went well. It could be your male friend is using his wife as an excuse. If not then as denimini has said, the event could have a positive effect upon your friends wife. Time will tell, but I suspect your friend will not appear in a skirt - again time will tell.
Be yourself because an original is worth more than a copy.
