Stop Assuming Biological Male in Skirt = MIS (They're probably pre-op transwomen)
Seems like posters in this forum often see any biologically male individual wearing a skirt and assume, "Wow! MIS is growing in popularity!"
Have you ever considered that there are many, many pre-op transwomen? That the majority of transwomen have never had surgery and could easily pass as male? That many transwomen (including my former colleague) have never had surgery, never had hormones, never wear makeup, wear only men's shirts, and that the only "feminine" piece of clothing they normally wear is a skirt?
Sure, transwomen have the right to wear skirts and identify as whatever they want. But just be real: if you see a biological male in a skirt, chances are it's a pre-op transwoman rather than a man in a skirt.
We MIS are even more of a rarity than it would seem.

Yes we are seen as Gender Nonconforming which is not a big deal for me because I am gender nonconforming.

Umm... No.
Really it doesn't matter. If a guy is going around in a skirt, with no other visible signals that he is trans, he's just a guy in a skirt to anyone who sees him, unless they talk to him and he says, "no, actually I'm trans." At that point the difference is basically linguistic.
It's this sort of thinking, that any guy who does a single thing that could be coded female by society is automatically trans, gay, or whatever, that led to this absurdly small "man box" of acceptable male behavior in the first place.
