I love it! It is unique. I too noticed Naval type influence in the design. You look awesome and younger in it.

This could become a let’s goad Stevie into buying that dodgy dress thread.

It’s too elaborate for my taste. But it looks great on Stevie.

AWWWWWWWWW,
Guys, you are just too good with that silver tongued flattery and giving the members of my jury headaches.
Then "goad Stevie" was unveiled, oh deary me!
I'm an ornery stubborn cuss, prohibit or try to force me and the opposite is more likely to be achieved.
Chances are very high that Stevie will pass on the dodgy dress, fashion faux pas, he has a plenty.

Not for me Stevie, I don't like long sleeves at the best of times and those do look a bit puffy. I agree with your comments on the pattern being too large and the tie belt doesn't do it either.

At the end of the day it's what you like and feel comfortable with, if we all had the same taste we would be so boring :D

The real moral of this tale is that, "If you like the garment, wear it." 'Nuff said. Let the Devil rest with the naysayers.

I think the case rests here.
A nice bit of fun with a bit of practical thrown in.
Fact is that, had the two illustrations been reversed, I'd never have considered that particular dress.
Occasionally, loud proud and playing the "peacock" is just the tonic one needs.
However, that thought will never progress to a dirndl.
Prost!
Steve.

My first reaction was that the pattern is too busy.

Yet, somehow-at least on Stevie-it works! I like it!

I know this post is rather late. I liked what I saw, even if, theoretically, I shouldn't (too busy). Wasn't able to figure out why the pattern, nevertheless, works. I still haven't figured it out.

Just occurred to me that a similar "busy" pattern might work well for a man's shirt. Perhaps this could work well with a tie-less suit. The jacket would focus the attention on the shirt rather than on a tie.
