Strange underpants/skirt thing

So this was in my instagram feed and I am confused. So I get that it is a pair of underpants that can convert to a skirt, but I didn't know that some men like to sleep in a skirt, which it seems is the point of the garment. They also high light the fact that you can keep the "ammunition" as they term things, separate in a pouch.

Has anybody else seen this, or is this main stream and I am just out of touch?

In a dark part of my past, Mouse, I did sleep in a skirt and talked about it in my earliest cafe days, so nothing new there.
Essentially, this is a skort for men to wear in bed or as loungewear would be my take.
I have no idea whether it's common or ever likely to become so?
Strange thing indeed, which could actually have implications for MIS.
An awful lot of male under/night wear is still bought by the women in our lives.
This odd piece of kit might just blur the gender issue subtly enough to give rise to experimentation.
Personal view, yeugh, not my style at all.

So it's a skirt with a snap to make it into shorts? I have some hiking skirts like that but never really bothered to use that feature.

I think I now see the reason for the pouch in the front of the skirt lining. It means that your bits are contained within the skirt, so you keep some form of coverage, at least in the front....Not convinced though....

Yes, this was very weird.

As for sleepwear I'll wear a night gown if anything, usually only if its very cold or when I'm alone in the bed(like when I've worked the night).

Strange indeed. A lot of money for an extra button.
I notice that they come as a 2 pack, I wonder if that is so one can call them a pair even when they are not buttoned up
