article on dutch Vogue website about Stijn de Vries

Post by Katycatjulius »

Hello everyone,

Dutch Vogue website did an article about Stijn de Vries where he explains why he did wear a corset (which like skirts is a thing seen for women) at the final episode of popular dutch television series Who is the Mole, he goes deeper than just the corset in this article.

I put it through translate for you all so you can read it in english language here https://www-vogue-nl.translate.goog/cul ... r_pto=wapp

Going back 4 years (as I can see from my Amazon order history), I purchased a couple of shirts - one in white and the other in black. The intention was to pair them with a cami top in a matching colour. It is a look that I really like on women and I wanted to see how / if it worked for me. Unfortunately, the shirts ran small and I forgot to return them in the allotted time, so they sit in my wardrobe waiting for the day when my weight goes down enough to complete this exercise :-)

IT may be sterotyped as a thing for women, but every corset maker will tell you otherwise. History says men always wore corsets.

I'm no expert in this, but I think what he is wearing are 'stays', not a corset per-se.
