Not the first time either. Similar have been posted here before...but always good to see a bit more. I suspect the lack of any comment his attire is about the best we can expect from it; and perhaps as it should be.

If the comments section was open only comments that would be seen are those about President Elon Musk. A lot is being said today about President Elon Musk posted some USA government secrets on online. The least anything would be said about Prime Minister and his attire.

Sorry TM, but that is not a skirt as we know it in the West.
It is most likely a formal Kurta which is as much a masculine assigned garment as a pair of trousers.
The problem is that "skirt" implies that some sort of modern attitude to menswear exists where the opposite is true.
Quite sad actually.

I agree that it's a bit of a stretch to call a kurta a skirt or a dress even though that's what they are. The difference for me as I see it is the fact that an Indian man would never consider wearing one without pants.
