Skirtchosen
Skirtchosen
I ran across this, I'm sure some of you have already seen it but figured I'd post a link for those who have not.
Skirtchosen
A little expensive for me, as they usually are, but its nice to see more of these indie/small scale designers pop up. Soon maybe they will also dare to add a splash of colour or pattern, who knows.

Re: Skirtchosen
They look nice, but the colours as you say are not exciting. I do however like the cut with the wide hem. Price is also out there and that’s before you try to get them delivered into the UK.
Daily, a happy man in a skirt...

Re: Skirtchosen
I like style of those skirts with the A shape and wider hem at the bottom. The colours don’t bother me as I wear black and dark coloured skirts anyway but the price is beyond my budget.
My name is Arty. I’m a guy with a passion for wearing skirts, dresses and tights and a hobbiest musician and artist.

The "Manifesto" looks like the sort of thing many of us post on this site:

It's time to start breaking stereotypes.
Skirts have never been exclusively for women. A piece of clothing is not exclusive to a gender or sexual orientation . We live in a society that dictates to us, directly or indirectly, how to dress.
We believe that this is not the case and the way to change it is in our hands, in our bodies .
The only possible future is one in which sexual diversity and gender equality are valued and respected.
The origins of the skirt date back to the beginnings of the first items of clothing. Men have worn skirts since time immemorial: the Assyrians, the Sumerians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Egyptians… and we could go on.
The skirt, a comfortable garment that is gradually gaining acceptance among men. We have to wear it as a garment of masculinity without ever turning our backs on all the women who already wear it.
It's your time.
You decide.
Go for it!
...
Hello, I am Carlos Sáez-Quintanilla Villalobos, creator and designer . Thanks to my interests and my dreams of designing a skirt, SKIRTCHOSEN was born, a skirt for men . For more than three decades I have used a skirt because it is a very cool garment and above all because of its comfort.
Wearing a piece of clothing does not necessarily mean a person's sexual orientation. I want to break with the way men are seen when they wear skirts. People have to wear the clothes they like, that make them feel comfortable and that make them look good.
I speak for myself: a 50-year-old man, married, heterosexual, with two daughters. Today we have to have the peace of mind, the strength, the conviction and the self-confidence that men wearing skirts have to be well-regarded. Not everyone will think like me, but I invite you to try it.

The ONLY thing I don't like about this skirt is, THE PRICE

Re: Skirtchosen
Nice sensible skirt design and the colours are chosen not to be 'in your face' but to blend. But as Uncle Al says, they are a tad pricey. I put one in my basket and went to the checkout route and noted that they weren't going to load the price with carriage costs, to Ireland at least.

Re: Skirtchosen
Brilliant how bland men's clothes can get transformed into bland mens skirts.
Re: Skirtchosen
Plausible attempt at MIS. Better than some of the
outfits we have seen.
Apparently similar to the sort of garment we have discussed multiple times. Pockets. About knee length. Maybe sturdy construction?
Plausible, yes. But from my point of view, not very interesting.

Overpriced, as ever.
Stick to the other side of the shop, where choice and prices are better.

Re: Skirtchosen
Like many others, these skirts seem to carry an extremely high price, and also, from my point of view not practical because the sizes don't go far enough up.
OK, I admit to being exceedingly large, but I don't think I'm alone in that problem.
