Hello from Eastern Ireland
I thought it was time to stop hemming around the fringes. I’ve been a public skirt wearer for about 5 years,15 years in private. My first time experience was 44 years ago a school fancy dress party! a lovely maroon mini skirt. My school friends were worried about the exposure but I thought what a revelation, the airyness, the feeling of the material.
A flirtation with lingerie & scarves sustained me for the next number of years but eventually I rediscovered skirts.
I like wearing leggings, tights silk & satin blouses, shirts, skirts, kilts & panties.I’ll accessorise with silk or satin scarves & heeled boots & shoes.
I just love the diversity of colour, style & choice of materials & textures of women’s fashion.
Why should our choices be so restrictive.
My style ranges from above the knee to pencil & down to maxi ankle length or floor sweepers, depending on how high the heels are.
Style shouldn’t be a limitation but an expression.

Welcome Lar4Skirts,
You certainly list a variety of skirt options which you have experimented with. What freedom you enjoy tends to be dictated by those you live with and a supportive spouse would be a great advantage.
Mine isn't, so my skirting must remain a private indulgence. I suspect I'm four times your age, though but so long as one remains vertical there's still fun to be had.

Hi Lar4skirts
Welcome to this cafe on the internet where men can wear any skirt they please and then talk about it. Some of us have done the same as you and skirted for years in private, before just walking out the front door in a skirt and discovering the world carried on and no body cared about what you are wearing.
I now wear a skirts everyday for work and play. I have done this since lockdown and if I can do it, so can everybody else...if they want to.
Please stick around and comment and post whatever you have concerning skirts and associated life.
