Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.

Thanks Fred, but I'd be far happier without the Halloween.
Our dogs are not gundogs and are frightened by all the bangers &c that are fired off around this time.

Hi Tom,
We don't have that much in the way of fire works and fire crackers on Halloween, it is mostly haunted houses and trick or treaters running around in costumes etc. It is mostly for the little ones but the haunted houses are for the big people who can't get enough adrenaline pumping through their veins. Some of them have been so scary that people have had heart attacks while going through them. Three years ago the one in our town did have one man die because he had been scared to death. The police then shut them down and now when this group puts on a haunted house they have to have all of the scary parts checked to make sure they are not bad enough to cause a heart attack..
