Mini T-shirt Dress

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

Mini T-shirt Dress

Post by DrFishnets »

I’ve been looking for more long T-shirts and came across this Mini T-shirt Dress on Matalan’s website that I quite like.

https://www.matalan.co.uk/clothing/brow ... 55729.html

I also found this dress I like.

I might pop into the Matalan tomorrow to see if they sell them in store in my size as they have my size online. Those two dresses will look good with tights or leggings and timberland or Dr Marten boots.

Matalan also sell a T-Shirt mini dress in red and green. Just doesn't have the "jersey" bit in the title. I bought a similar very long T-Shirt type of dress from Tesco in black.

Have fun shopping and I am right with you, with your choice of boots.
Daily, a happy man in a skirt...

Yeah maybe look better with timberland boots or slip on loafers. I’m thinking of pairing T-shirt dress with my waistcoats as well as leggings or thick black tights.

I’ve seen them in Tesco but they don’t seem to have my size which 18 to 20 and 24. Matalan seem to sell a lot of skirts amd dresses that are for large people.

I did a currency conversion and that is around £7 GBP which means that T-shirt dress is cheaper than what Matalan are asking which is £10.

Unfortunately, I didn’t see that T-shirt dress or the other dress at my local Matalan store so I don’t know whether to order it online. I did buy a black short dress from Tesco with pleats which is a size 22 and flared but very nice. It looks good with a waistcoat and black leggings and loafers.

I very seldom see a dress which I could imagine to wear. But this one, I should like wearing, included above mentioned accessorisk.

Yeah it is a very nice dress but unfortunately my local Matalan store doesn’t sell it even though it’s on the Matalan online store. I’m tempted to get it online. I’ve been shopping around in town in local clothes shops for a mini T-shirt dress but so far no shops seem to sell them.

I have not made much effort to find shirt dresses for a long while, as it seems the male, or my anatomy of wide shoulders makes getting a a fit top and bottom difficult at best; but when I was looking, I found the rack at Goodwill/thrift stores usually had a few -- albeit they tended to be more 'used' than other options, which at least suggests when they fit, they are a favorite choice.

A few years back I posted this photo from "Tee-P-Js"
a brand of sleepwear for people of all sizes and genders.
It looks as if they would be "street-legal" dresses for all purposes,
but I can't seem to locate that company now.

I went back to buy the t-shirt mini dress but it was gone. Instead I bought this mini T-shirt dress which was cheaper and had pockets which is a bonus.

Here's me at work yesterday, casual Friday.
It's a tee dress under a sweatshirt for layering, look and warmth.
