Platform shoes - unisex

Discussion of fashion elements and looks that are traditionally considered somewhat "femme" but are presented in a masculine context. This is NOT about transvestism or crossdressing.

Platform shoes - unisex

Ran across these on Amazon (note - I do not approve of crocs, LOL, j/k, sorta):

Very interesting Amazon lists these as unisex - but they only go up to a men's size 9. Croc's lists these on their own website and provide both men's and women's sizes.

I've got pair of Crocs. I've had them for years, super tough and comfy. I sling my legs over the bed most mornings into my Crocs and head off to the bathroom.
Mind you, I wouldn't go out in them.

Yes, that's more or less what I mean.

However, as an advocate for fashion freedom - I won't stop or shame anyone who goes out in public in crocs, but I may silently judge .

I also have an old pair of crocs which I live in at home. I can’t say I wouldn’t go out in them, because I have on occasions just left the house and not bothered to check on what was on my feet.

One question. In the advert I posted recently, the guy was in crocs with socks…. This to me is similar to sandals as a no no, but maybe I am old and wrong?🤠
Daily, a happy man in a skirt...

I seem to have too many Crocs:
Three pairs of the "original" style (but actually cheap Chinese copies) for going out in the garden when the grass is wet,
One pair of bi-coloured blue and white Crocs Athens toe-post flip-flops (https://www.amazon.in/crocs-Unisex-Athe ... B0722TXK9N), size W9 M7, for indoors - surprisingly big on my feet,
Three pairs (!) of Crocs Prima style (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Crocs-Womens-P ... B0014C4EZK) in bronze, lilac and lemon-yellow, size 12 (so probably US women's) which are great as you can slip them on without bending down when you come into the house with your arms full of shopping. And they were very cheap on Ebay at under £9 for the three pairs including postage!

I never saw a pair of Crocs that I would wear before these. But wouldn't you know they don't have anything near my size either on Amazon or the Crocs website
