A Kilt For President Zelensky
A company called Great Scot made a kilt for President Zelensky. Have sold thousands of them in support of Ukraine war.

We need to get King Charles to have a special kilt be made for President Biden.

I like the tartan. I guess you don't have to be Scottish to wear it?

And I'll bet that you don't have to be a koala bear -- or even identify as one -- to wear it!

, not Biden. Then there is less rights for LGBT people because of Donald Trump, not Biden. This inflation was set in motion by Donald Trump, not Biden. Biden been trying to ease the pain in students repayment plan, but being almost impossible because several Republicans Attorney Generals taken him into court to stop this process with Donald Trump approval. Also Donald Trump gave his blessing to states that created laws to put men in jail for wearing dresses and skirts and these laws was thrown out by federal courts. I take it you would be happy if the federal courts didn't throw these laws out. Be careful what you wish for.
I was thinking in more of in line that a red, white and blue just like American flag, a kilt be made for Biden.

Re: A Kilt For President Zelensky
mr seamstress - This is coming from PERSONAL experience;
Under President Trump, I was able to set aside funds during my retirement. Even splurge on a few things.
I was SECURE in the fact illegal immigration(the invasion of our country) was being stopped. I could afford to buy
groceries and not have to take out a loan to pay for them. My wife and I could eat out 2 or 3 times a month
before she passed. I could afford to buy gas for my vehicles. I could afford to attend my annual lodge convention.
I could afford the upkeep on my musical instruments(piano and organ). I could even afford to buy new shoes.
I was born and raised a Hoosier, graduated ISU in Terre Haute, and moved to Texas for employment.
Under President Biden(sic), ALL of my savings are gone - just to keep the house operating. Since my wife
passed a couple of years ago, I quit cooking meals, buying instead pre-made dinners. I can't cook a meal
for one person for less money than the cost of a "T.V.Dinner". I hardly leave the house unless it's a special
occasion, or to get my grocery pick-up at Walmart. Eating out, now, is getting a tuna or chicken salad
sandwich at 7-11 when I get gas for my vehicle. America is being invaded by Biden not enforcing the existing
immigration laws, and his stopping the boarder wall. It is not safe to be out late at night - anywhere.
I'm considering getting my CCW. The Democratic government in my county, has allowed the property tax
appraisal district to keep raising the value of my home. I have homestead and senior exemptions which
have frozen my tax RATE(not value). I barely covered the taxes last year. Not sure about this year.
Home Owners Insurance is now MORE than the property taxes. Last year I spent $9500.00(rounded off) to
cover the taxes and insurance. I had to take out a $9000.00 loan(savings shot) to replace the HVAC unit in
my house. Property taxes and insurance will be forcing me to sell my PAID-FOR home and move to another
town, away from DFW.
I used to not worry about many things but now, I'm living month-to-month on my pension, wife's retirement
(beneficiary) and Soc. Sec. I had to cancel my home phone service, cable TV(only kept the I-Net). A couple
of years ago, I canceled the lawn care service because they wouldn't come on my schedule. The money I
would've spent for 1 year of service, I purchased a new battery operated lawn mower, string trimmer - with
edger, blower, hedge clipper and pole saw attachments. Now, at 73 years of age, I'm back to cutting, trimming,
etc., my own property. The 'benefit' is, this forces me to get exercise. (Lost 60 lbs last year.)
One more thing - I PAID MY OWN STUDENT LOAN DEBT
BTW - Am American Heritage tartan kilt has already been made.

So, Skirt Cafe' is NOT the place to discuss politics unless it is about restricting men from wearing a kilt or skirt.
I've been disrespected because of my 'political' beliefs. You struck a nerve in me when you brought up the current
occupant of the White House.
I'm entitled to my opinions just like anyone else is entitled to their opinions.

In September it will be 3 years since my wife pass away 3 days after my birthday. In September I will be 73. I own my property. I mow my on lawn, never hired anyone to mow it. I live on $1100 a month. You need to count your blessing. I cook for one.Uncle Al wrote: ↑Tue May 28, 2024 3:26 am mr seamstress - This is coming from PERSONAL experience;

This is already under consideration. Any action will likely be through back channels.
