When I was a little one -- with a sense of rhythm and rhyme -- we used a slightly modified version. The first three lines were as written, but I added one between the first three and the final one, which Fred remembered: "So let's all fart and grunt and squeal//and have our beans at every meal."

Even early on I had a reputation for being just a wee bit off-colour, and was an ace at parodying poetry. That got me into more trouble in grammar school than one can shake a stick at.
