Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.

That was a really great article! TIL what a "trucker jacket" is.
A trucker jacket is a denim jacket.
Since turning 60 I have refused to wear anything denim. the one old denim skirt I have will probably never be worn again.
I don't mind denim, although it's rare that I wear anything denim these days. I used to always wear jeans in the cooler weather but that's pretty rare in Florida and my legs are usually bare below the knee all year round now.

Since turning 20 I have refused to wear blue jeans, on the grounds that they are practically a uniform for people who follow popular trends however boring. But after continuing to wear black, red, and green jeans, I realized that a blue denim kilt would not compromise my stand, so I now wear that!
