What a wonderful entertainment legacy he left us! Not just the Bond films, which rocketed him to stardom and he became a world-wide household name, but also his subsequent films, many of which were extremely enjoyable and (in my case) collectable.
He lost his hair early and for his latter Bond films he wore a perfectly convincing toupee, apparently.
It is a shame he had to go, but before he did he left us with a lot of great entertainment. I only liked his Bond films, he was so convincing in the roll.
He will surely be missed..

1/ Entrapment, with Catherine Zeta-Jones. Truth is, she's the real star in that one, set in Kuala Lumpur and Scotland
2/ The First great Train Robbery. 'London Bridge station' was in fact Kingsbridge Sta. Dublin, while it still looked undiluted Victorian. A real romp.
Quite possibly my favourite role that Sir Connery played was that of Henry Jones, Sr. in the Indiana Jones franchise with Harrison Ford playing Henry Jones, Jr. ("We named the dog Indiana.")
The wit and humour in the screenplay for that was absolutely delightful. E.g. Senior: "I'm as human as the next man."// Junior: "I was the next man!"
