Lancaster, North West England
Hi everyone,
I called here many years ago, at the time I was passionate about blokes in skirts.
I had a small website dedicated to men in skirts named after my one eyed cat called Bobclops.
My old pal Hamish who would sit by the potted palm moved on to the cafe in the sky many years back.
Lovely guy and wore some VERY short skirts.
We raised an eyebrow or two in pubs whenever I went to see him.
I spent a lot of time on the road, first as a trucker then as a network engineer providing a country wide service.
If you have never driven whilst wearing a skirt, then you dont know what you are missing.
Driving, Skirts and Men are made for each other.
I even made it to the BBC and talked to John Peel about wearing skirts.
Caused some ripples....
But domesticity conquered and beat all the rebelious streak out of me What with adult kids and grandchildren, Skirts are taboo for me,
Although I manage to get away with wearing sarongs on holiday.
Had a heart attack and beaten prostate cancer, So every reason to put on a skirt while I can.
Really pleased to see this site is still running.
Time for a beer. Take care all.

Hi Tim
It's great reading you again
With what you've been through, bring back the skirts.
My grand kids don't mind me wearing skirts at all
I remember 'Bobclops' quite well.
Sorry to read about Hamish He was a great person with a wonderful sense of humor
Stay safe and well, my friend

My Dad was Tim and my eldest is also Tim. His eldest is currently studying pure math at Lancaster Uni.
The way things are going, they'll probably resume production of those beloved Lancs with four Merlins pulling them along. My eldest g'child also happens to be named Merlin.
I'm claiming to be ahead of you on the yearometer dial and at my age friends are falling off their perches all around me. I's no secret that we of a 'certain age' are all in the departure lounge at this stage.

Hamish was still alive about four years ago when I met him. When did he die?

Hola,
Nice to see some more seasoned blokes here, and returning.
Me, I am seasoned in years, new to skirtcafe, and just a few years full time in skirts -- so I'll be reading you for some wisdom!

Thanks for the welcome one and all.Ray wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2020 3:27 pm Hamish was still alive about four years ago when I met him. When did he die?
Ray, I dont know what to say,. 2016 ?
My cancer diagnosis was in 2014 and he had died before then,
Sadly, he had prostate cancer as well.
Well all I can do is hope I was wrong. Not a topic to argue over.
