Funny, I opened this thread after reading this post:

In the Netherlands swimming lessons are quite common. Almost every kid is learned how to swim. The main reason: to prevend drowning (we have many cans here in this country). The first tests are based on the fact "how to save yourself when you fall into the water". Getting used to swim with your clothes on is a part of is.

Those pants are inflatable. Did anyone tried inflating them with helium? You might be able to walk on your hands without much effort.

Hmm! Kinda sorta reminds me of this:

He would've done much better to have cut the bottom part of those parachute pants off and turned them into a full skirt. Actually did that once with a pair of palazzo pants that I originally thought were a skirt when I bought them at a thrift store. Removed the legs and cut the crotch part out. Wound up with a very full, above-knee, black skirt.
