Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.
Hard to believe that Sofia Loren is 85 years old. She is pictured with her son,
Carlo Ponti Jr(50), as she was presented with the European Cultural Award - Taurus.
She's holding the award in this picture and received a kiss from her son.
(This really makes me feel OLD )

They would not show up on any of my computers. Old or new.

Right click on the image. Choose 'copy image' (or equivalent).
Open a PDF document browser such as Acrobat or Mac Preview etc.
Paste the image into Acrobat/Preview
If you wish, Save the image as a jpg file or whatever format you want.

There are any number of ways of subverting madness like "protected images", the simplest (and worst case) is a screen-shot of the image saved off in your favourite format.
In this case, the files as they appear on the server are in some strange format that perhaps only Internet Exploder understands. I downloaded the contents of the link and tried importing it in as many image formats I know of. An invocation of the UNIX "file" command indicated that it was a "little-endian RIFF file". A little bit of digging indicated that it was a Resource Interchange File Format blob and I pretty much gave up interest on the matter as I had other things to do.

Interesting. I had no problem at all viewing and saving the images. I'm using the latest Firefox browser on a 2015 iMac running OS Mojave.
Sorry Dennis
I copied the "spelling" from the website.

Well spotted Dennis . Go to the top of the class .
I hope you do not get " modded " for publically calling out a website moderator whilst acting as the grammar police . ......L.O.L
As to Sophia, traces of her former beauty, that she was, can still be seen. She was one of the great actresses in the 60's, famous for her eyes which Peugeot tried to catch in the headlights of amongst other the 206 model.
