This sounds like sexsism and discrimination at the same time.

It is but I would also guess that it is quite legal in Russian law.beachlion wrote:This sounds like sexsism and discrimination at the same time.
The company could just as likely have fired anyone for not adhering to a mandatory dress code of their choosing.
In all honesty that is what would happen in a lot of organisations in a lot of countries all over the world.
We can complain but that is the reality for the vast majority of employees today.

Indeed it is sexism and discrimination. Women are being paid extra salary for wearing a skirt or dress while this is not an option for male staff. Totally discriminatory!beachlion wrote:https://www.bbc.com/news/blogs-trending-48457590

Re: Brushing up your Russian
I wish i could be paid extra to wear a skirt to work

Re: Brushing up your Russian
In this country they would have to offer the same incentive if a man wore a dress/skirt. It's dubious that the men in Russia could get the same payment.
I believe in offering every assistance short of actual help but then mainly just want to be left to be myself in all my difference and uniqueness.

Oh no they wouldn't! The offer itself would be discriminatory and therefore illegal.
BTW the Russian guys apparently get something for doing "macho" stuff, also discriminatory.
