"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

Re: Real or click bait?
OK this time around it worked.
Comments running about 99% against this fashion and some are downright nasty #@&^%* !
What is with this fashion movement - nary a smile on the male face - certainly would not pass
muster on the Victoria's Secret runway expo !
AND THE MISMATCHED SOX - left sox with Adias 3 white stripes - right sox plain jane ???
Appears that there is serious competition for the job of court jester !
All in all a terribly poor job of trying to win approval for the male skirt ! This is not helping !

Re: Real or click bait?
After having had a look see, I would not be caught dead in those outfits. They look stupid and weird.
..
Just not the items that would foster men wearing skirts.

Re: Real or click bait?
Looking at the pics I would not wear the one on the left but the one on the right may look a lot better with a mini skirt rather.

Fashion designers aim much more at surprising people and gaining attention than on practical day-to-day clothing.
Courage, conviction, nerve, verve, dash, panache, guts, nuts, balls, gall, élan, stones, whatever. Get some and get skirted.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the what I saw in that photo. I wasn't sure if the photo was meant to mock men in skirts or to highlight some designer's avant-garde conceptualization (the photo brings together a lot of conflicting motifs which could signal artistic endeavor). Again, I wasn't a big fan of what I saw--mostly because it is so altogether awkward--that i couldn't discern the message. I think we're all in agreement that it was not merely click-bait and that it doesn't help our cause.
Re: Real or click bait?
I guess it's a design by Thom Brown. He had these and similar outfits during the last show. Always a bit extreme but food for thoughts.
Re: Real or click bait?
Not my cup of tea. I could find LOTS nicer stuff from the women’s side of the store.
I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman.

Like Jeff said.

Re: Real or click bait?
It is rather strange that the male skirt styles shown on the catwalk are not the style which a male
would dare to wear out on the street........It would seem that the world at large does not care
what a man in skirts wears out on the street ,......But this style of male attire has not hit
the headlines as a new style of male dress.......Speaking personally....I have been interested
in this style of dress for 50 years but the general popularity out on the street has not increased.

Re: Real or click bait?
The fashion weeks have started. I just now had a peek at the LFWM via vogue.co.uk. With the exception of Artschool either trousers and if skirts/dresses are presented, than worn by women.
