Skirt Cafe is an on-line community dedicated to exploring, promoting and advocating skirts and kilts as a fashion choice for men, formerly known as men in skirts. We do this in the context of men's fashion freedom --- an expansion of choices beyond those commonly available for men to include kilts, skirts and other garments. We recognize a diversity of styles our members feel comfortable wearing, and do not exclude any potential choices. Continuing dialog on gender is encouraged in the context of fashion freedom for men. See here for more details.

Thank you all Gentlemen. You all did better than my 21-year-old, live at home son; he still has not remembered.
Oh well, some things never change...
Have fun,
Ian.

Turned 59 yesterday...my kids did both call. I spent the day cutting firewood from a friend's huge 100 year old pecan tree that came down in the hurricane. I'm planning a black outfit with pencil skirt and heavy ballet tights, since its a bit chilly here this weekend. Pecan has that wonderful hickory smell when it burns.

Thank you all for the kind wishes. We never know what time we have left. Not to sound like the Grim Reaper, what with all the death notices I have posted lately, but I noted journalist Gwen Ifill, of PBS Newshour and Washington Week In Review has passed away of cancer, at age 61...which is not too far away for me. I wish all the correspondents here good health and long happy lives.
Social norms aren't changed by Congress or Parliament; they're changed by a sufficient number of people ignoring the existing ones and publicly practicing new ones.
