Be careful while driving in a skirt !!

Post by Regular Guy »

I was just out running an errand early this morning and skirted in a 14 inch chino. I have found very few people in the store this early and didn't mind be skirted. But, on my way home While at a stop light, I noticed a rather tall pickup truck in the lane next to me. I was in the left turn lane and the truck in the go straight lane. The fellow in the truck was peering into my car and from his lofty perch no doubt had a good view of my pantyhose clad legs sticking out of my skirt. I followed his gaze and as the light was changing and cars in front of us started to move we made eye contact. He just turned his head and drove off with the rest of the traffic.

I guess my point is that modesty is always necessary, even in the privacy of your own vehicle.

The great thing is the comfort and ventilation of driving while skirted.

I can relate to men's eyes always managing to find a skirt and legs; it happens to me on both looking and being looked at in those positions. I imagine you left him with some inner confusion and conflicted feelings. Oh well...

That's why I drive at night and just wear knee-length black skirts  but I just look at the puzzled faces when I get out of the car, straighten my skirt and go on my way

Am I correct in thinking, then, that you've never tried driving naked?

Not for show, of course, just for comfort and a new experience.

(Just be careful who you drive next to or pull up to at a stoplight.)

^Or do it in a rural area... Heck, three years ago, I was passed by a Washington State Patrol officer in an Explorer going the other way as I was sitting in a normal car at a light while driving au naturel on a rainy afternoon. Guy didn't even look. I actually felt less self-conscious than I did last year while wearing a tube top and a skirt on my way home from Portland, OR (was too warm for a t-shirt - plus, got stuck doing back roads on the way north, so had to deal with intersections, instead of just bombing up I-5). When I was so attired, it seemed that everyone who'd pull up next to me would either not pull all the way up, or pace me while we were moving. Think they were trying to figure out if I was naturally attired or actually wearing something. This year, it doesn't seem to be as strange when I'm wearing the same kind of clothing behind the wheel. Could be that I'm sitting more upright, so the top (or the bodice of a dress) is slightly visible.

You all be careful of that distracted driving !!!
An attractive nuisance can be just as bad as a texative one !!!
Of course with one you can anticipate the reaction - the other not so much !!!

And be very careful if your vehicle has a sunroof where more than the sun can be observed !!!

I should leave !!!
This thread may becoming way to revealing resulting in unsafe driving 101 !!!
"YES SKIRTING MATTERS"!
"Kilt-On" -or- as the case may be "Skirt-On" !
WHY ?
Isn't wearing a kilt enough?
Well a skirt will do in a pinch!
Make mine short and don't you dare think of pinching there !

I have driven from Augusta Ga to Rome Ga, leaving at 430AM buck a**ed naked before I had to put on a pair of cut offs as I was getting closer to a more inhabited area and it was getting light. I was most comfortable. It is a long drive.

Wear a knee-length or longer skirt and fold it upwards in your lap to whatever length you prefer. You can just flip it back down to a modest length if the need arises.

That is one of the great advantages of a skirt, if the sun suddenly becomes uncomfortably hot while you are driving, you can just pull it up and cool off without having to stop and change your clothes.
There is no such thing as a normal person, only someone you don't know very well yet.

I've worn short skirts while driving and have had to deal with the possibility of gawkers from 18-wheelers, SUV's, buses and whatnot. Wanna know my feeling on that is? Don't care. If people want to look (and most of the time, they don't anyway), fine, nothing I can do about that. I go my way, they go theirs and everyone is happy.
I don't want to LOOK like a woman, I just want to DRESS like a woman.

To the OP: I think you're worrying about things too much. That same person will probably have the same odd look if they see you walking around. As long as the stuff that's hidden when you're standing isn't easily visible, who cares? Yes, they're expecting a woman when they see a skirt and PH. Should you care? No, provided it's not someone who you don't want knowing that you wear skirts instead of shorts and long trousers. Just go on about your business. In all likelihood, the guy probably has forgotten about it by now.

Mini skirts are the best garments to drive in and no amount of peering by others would put me off. I am aware that I can be seen by others as most people around here drive 4WD's and I drive a mini car most of the time.
The car does give a false sense privacy and many people seem relaxed about picking their nose at traffic lights. Maybe be it is the case of driving off and never being seen again.
As for naked driving; I worry enough about my legs and right arm getting too much sun on a long straight stretch of road.
My name is Anthony, please accept me for the person that I am.

Man I've led a sheltered life. I've never even thought of driving sans clothing. Might have to try it some time.

About the skirt and hose being noticed at stop lights, I'm sure that has happened to me when I drive the wife's car as it's a lower more sporty type. But I normally drive a 4x4 Ford Ranger and I'm sure not as many can see in to where my legs are. Plus, frankly I don't care.

I almost always wear pantyhose with a skirt when out in public as my legs are ugly with all the scars and blemished skin.

It's best on a warm day when it's believable you could be shirtless.

Bring two towels: one to sit one and one to put on your lap in case of emergency.

Reminds me of the time I went through a check point while wearing a ruffly blue skirt.

The cop never missed a beat, just looked over my license, and bid me a good day, and as I'm not mistaken, it was RIGHT at the Cumberland Gap, yes folks, that area of the country where Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia all meet.

I stood on the Equator once, one foot in the northern hemisphere and one in the southern. I still have mixed feelings about it.

Four Corners is still on my bucket list. That's a spot where you can stand with a quarter of yourself in Colarado, Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona.
