my first outings were to go to store to pick up a Coke or whatever. then I got braver and went to a couple big craft stores. I don't ever see myself wearing a skirt everywhere I go, but it is definitely getting easier. I love it

My first outing was around the little Hampshire town we were living in at the time. We lived in the centre, so it was straight out of the front door and on to the end of the High street. I remember how nervous I was, heart beating in my chest. At the same time thinking half the population, the female half don't give it a second though. I made myself walk slower than normal. I went to the building society cashpoint. Only being so aware of being in my surrounding's I forget to take the care out properly, took the money. Luckily the machine swallowed it. I did have to order a new card.

That was about five years ago, it does get easier now I just get a wonderful warm glow, thinking, hey, I'm a man in a skirt. How cool is that?
