What a beautiful sound it makes!

Although I can't play anything, I do love the sound of symphony music. When I sold all of my LP albums of various genre's I retained all of the "classical" nature. My favorites I have converted over to mp3, but I still sometimes enjoy playing them on the phonograph from time to time.

Here's a link to a sample of one of my favorites.... LOVE the end... always makes the hair stand up on my neck.. I've my LP version stored on my phone and occasionally play it pretty loud going up the interstate while working.

Admittedly an ignoramus with regard to symphonic music, but I prefer American contemporary music, chiefly Copland and Gershwin, also William Grant Still and Dvorjak after his immigration.

Fascinating, but as with all electronic instruments the sound wears very thin very fast. It'll stay rare.

Very good for special musical effects, of course, but that's about it.
